Stuck In Makati

Ayala Center in a glance.

During our 2 day meeting in the Philippines, we decided to hold our meeting in Makati and stay in the hotel there for 3 nights to avoid the heavy traffic in Manila. I didn’t have the chance to go to my hometown.

So what did I do when I got stuck in Makati?

1. I went around the area.

Staying at the hotel near at the Ayala Center, we just went around the area during our free time.

We went first to the Ayala Museum just across the street. However, it was closed on that day, Monday. So we just walked a little until we reached a chapel. I entered just to say a little prayer. Outside the chapel is a lawn with sculptures of water buffaloes.

2. Eat a lot of food I miss, lol.

3. Watch a movie and eat more.

I chose to go outside Makati, into the next city Mandaluyong to watch a movie with my two sisters and meet a couple of highschool classmates later that day.

Movie watching “Walang Forever”, dinner at CYMA Greek Taberna and Recipes by Metro and drinking at Brotzeit German Bier Bar.
It was a short trip filled with smorgasbord of food.
