This must be the way how the ancient Japanese feudal lords spent their afternoon waiting for the sunset.

Standing at the top of the Mount Katsuyama is the Matsuyama Castle. The castle got assigned to a branch of the Matsudaira family in the 17th century. We went there after having a conference and we waited until we see the sunset.

Sunset and sunrise surely are the biggest cliche in photography but the sight of these natural daily occurrences are breathtaking. So when we had a chance to see the sunset from a Japanese castle, we grabbed it and waited for this lovely sight.

Yeah, I can view the sunset on any day but it’s not everyday that I can look at it from a castle. This sunset is special, lol!
