After visiting the cherry blossoms in Fort Goryokaku, another good place to see them in Hokkaido is the Matsumae Park. Nestled to the west of Cape Shirakami in Hokkaido, Matsumae unfolds a tale steeped in history and natural splendor. Once a pivotal castle town during the Edo Period, its strategic significance as Japan’s northernmost point was unrivaled. Matsumae Castle, also known as Fukushima Castle, stood as a beacon of strength, guarding the untamed frontier of Hokkaido and flourishing amidst the ebb and flow of economic prosperity.

The Golden Buddha of Wat Traimit
Situated in Bangkok’s Chinatown, the Wat Traimit temple belongs to the Worawihan class of second-class royal temples. Initially known as Wat Sam Chin, it derived its name from the tale of three Chinese individuals who collaborated in its construction. Inside, there are captivating elements such as the Phra Maha Mondop, which was erected in 2008 to house the Golden Buddha. As a result, the temple is officially recognized as Wat Traimit Withayaram Worawihan, and it is also commonly referred to as “The Temple of the Golden Buddha.”

Considered as one of Hokkaido’s best cherry blossom spots, there are about more than a thousand cherry trees planted along the moats of Fort Goryokaku. But what made Goryokaku special though is its shape.
Pila Municipal Center: From Red To White
But much to my surprise, they had repainted the Pila Municipal Center with an off-white and beige color. This is very much in contrast to the flaming red facade it has donned before. I was a little bit frustrated because I really like its color before. Its red color gave it uniqueness among all the municipal halls in the Philippines.
Half Day in Sydney
I only visited 2 places in Sydney: St. Mary’s Cathedral and the Sydney Opera House. It was enough for my half-day tour and already covered 2 of the most famous tourist spots in Sydney.
Brisk Walking in Brisbane
The last time I was in Brisbane, I had no time to do side tours around the city. Luckily, I got the chance to explore it a little whenever I walked from my hotel to the convention center. For 4 days, i got to see the city with a 20 to 30 minute brisk walk.

Visita Iglesia 2018: Churches of Laguna
Laguna has a total of 86 Catholic churches with 26 of them being built between the 16th and 19th centuries. This Holy Week, we have visited few of these churches to do the “Station of the Cross”.
