Pasig Cathedral

Pasig Cathedral or Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish is one of the oldest structures in Pasig City being founded in 1573 by the Augustinian missionaries. The church has historical importance as it served as the British military headquarters during the brief British occupation of Manila in 1762 to 1764. The British used the church’s belfry as a watchtower against the Spanish defenders. The parish was elevated into a cathedral in 2003.
