It was said that the Philippines has the longest Christmas season. The season starts on September 1st with Christmas songs being played on radio stations. So truly, we felt that Christmas was in the air when we saw the Café Claus in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.

Café Claus is the first Christmas-themed restaurant in the Philippines. The owners, GMA 7 actor Ken Chan and his business partner Ryan Kolton opened this restaurant only last December 2021.

The facade of Café Claus is decorated with garlands and Christmas lights. A simply decorated Christmas tree will greet the customers upon entry to the restaurant. There is also a fake fireplace with stockings and a lot of Christmas ornaments.

Among the dishes we tried in Café Claus are the tasty lasagna, carbonara and mini-cakes. Café Claus, not only looks like Chrismas but also tastes like Christmas.
