During my time living in Japan, I developed a deep appreciation for the numerous flower farms dedicated to a wide array of blooms, from tulips and roses to iris, cosmos, sunflowers, and lavender. I often wondered why similar parks were not present in the Philippines. However, to my astonishment, I discovered a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque town of Atok, Benguet. The Northern Blossoms Flower Farm provides a truly enchanting experience for flower enthusiasts and nature lovers alike, showcasing the breathtaking natural beauty of the highlands and offering a delightful adventure amidst a sea of blossoms.

Following a two-hour journey from Baguio City, we reached the Northern Blossom Flower Farm. Traveling from Metro Manila, on the other hand, this scenic destination could take up to nine hours by car.

Mrs. Melany “Lany” Ganayan and her husband are the proud owners of Northern Blossoms Flower Farm. Their passion for flowers extends beyond the farm as they also operate a flower shop located in Dimasalang, Manila.

Situated in Atok, Benguet, the Northern Blossom Flower Farm spans across two hectares, offering picturesque mountain vistas. This charming farm showcases a variety of flora, including echeveria plants, vibrant rose cabbages, fragrant lavender, striking sunflowers, delicate pastel-colored flowers, cheerful marigolds, enchanting delphiniums or candle larkspurs, Matthiola blooms, elegant snapdragons, rice flowers, and a wide array of roses. These captivating botanical wonders are carefully cultivated across expansive rolling fields.

From the flower farm, you can enjoy distant views of both Mt. Pulag and Mt. Timbak. The enchanting landscape of the flower farm is further enhanced by the presence of pine-fringed mountains and neighboring vegetable farms.
