Pantjoran Chinatown PIK

We have just arrived in Jakarta and after checking in at our hotel, we asked the waitress at the hotel restaurant where could we go for sightseeing in the afternoon. She recommended us to go to Pantjoran PIK. Pantjoran PIK is located in Golf Island or the Pantai Maju area, which is a reclamation island in the northern bay of Jakarta.

Pantjoran PIK draws inspiration from Pancoran’s Chinatown culinary district in West Jakarta. The name Pantjoran is derived from the Betawi folklore term “pancoran,” which refers to a water fountain. The ambiance in Pantjoran is distinctly Oriental, evident in its buildings, architecture, and decorative elements.

In Pantjoran Chinatown, you’ll discover a plethora of shops and tenants within its culinary area. The dining options available are diverse, catering to both halal and non-halal food preferences.

Pantjoran Chinatown encompasses several captivating attractions, including the Pagoda, a mural depicting a Chinese village, exquisite windows, pillars adorned with Chinese design elements, and a variety of shops scattered throughout Pantjoran.
