Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, is one of the most well-known heritage streets in the Philippines. Visiting it feels like stepping into a part of history that’s been carefully preserved. The street is lined with Spanish colonial-era houses, many of which have been converted into souvenir shops, restaurants, and inns.

This was actually my third time visiting Calle Crisologo. On this visit, we decided to ride a kalesa to go around Calle Crisologo and nearby streets.

The cobblestone road, capiz shell windows, and old wooden doors give the street a unique charm. It’s a small stretch of street, but every corner has something interesting—whether it’s traditional woven products, Ilocano delicacies like empanada and longganisa, or simple antiques.
