Patar Beach
The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a long stretch of creamy white sand meeting the clear, turquoise waters of the West Philippine Sea. Patar Beach is located in Barangay Patar in the municipality of Bolinao, Pangasinan.

Rock Formations at Patar Beach
We stayed at Rockview Sunset Resort, which sits just a few steps away from the beach. It was the perfect spot to take in the panoramic view of the sea and the dramatic rock formations that give the place its name. The resort had a laid-back vibe. It featured simple cottages made of bamboo and nipa. There were open spaces for lounging. Guests could watch the sun sink into the horizon from a viewing deck.

Just beyond the main beach are hidden rock formations and tidal pools that add a sense of adventure. The coral stones, sculpted by years of waves, create natural spots for exploring.

Sunset at Patar Beach
As the sun begins to descend, the sky transforms into a masterpiece of shifting colors, radiant oranges melting into pinks, purples, and deep blues. The golden rays scatter across the water’s surface, making it shimmer like liquid fire.
