Alegria Mercados

Alegria Mercados

Located within Alegria Lifestyle Residences, Alegria Mercados Food and Lifestyle Market has gradually become a familiar weekend stop for residents of Loma de Gato and nearby parts of Marilao. Set inside a residential subdivision, the market opens its doors every Thursday through Sunday from around 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, inviting families, friends, and neighbors to gather for good food and easy company.

Near the carpark is the tall, cone-shaped Christmas structure that rises prominently against the night sky. Instead of a traditional solid tree, it resembles a glowing tower, with layers of warm yellow and cool white lights outlining arched “windows” and accented by illuminated snowflake patterns. A star crowns the top, making it visible from a distance and serving as a clear seasonal focal point for the area. At its base, small illuminated house façades form a miniature village, adding a quiet, storybook quality to the display.

Nearby, another scene presents a winter-themed vignette made up of white, cut-out pine trees arranged behind a row of softly lit miniature houses. Warm fairy lights are woven through surrounding branches and shrubs, creating depth and texture rather than a flat backdrop. A simple “North Pole” sign adds a playful detail without turning the display into something overly theatrical. This area naturally invites people to pause, look more closely, and take photos.

Christmas decorations

Scattered along the walkways are nutcracker figures of varying sizes, painted in classic holiday colors and positioned among landscaped plants. They act as visual markers as you move through the market area, subtly reinforcing the Christmas theme while still blending into the open layout.
